LOVE

OH, love’s a word loosely used,

With its forms many to get one amused.

For a friend who loves another friend,

A way to show is help to lend.

Parent’s love for child is a paper you can’t tear,

It’s so deep the deepest ocean can’t compare.

Siblings tend to fight too much,

But there’s only love and no hate as such.

True lovers love is a shoulder to lean,

When in trouble it’s the first to be seen.

Love can be testing and challenging at times,

But it forces none to commit any crimes!!

Movies and dramas have made an illusion,

By showing love so different that it’s a confusion!

It has much in common, though it’s of more than one form,

But not so easy that a simple picture can be drawn.

Understanding and trust are must for love to prevail,

For the ship of joy from love to sail.

No matter what everyone and everything has to die,

Immortality sometimes seems a lie.

But love’s a last leaf that will never fall

The highest is so short, for love is so tall.

Though so great, I have a question in mind,

Is love a gift or a curse for Humankind??
