FIRST YEAR

Embarked upon THE journey on this day

Some faces tensed, some jolly and gay

New people new place, even new subjects

To lend a hand then, noone would object

Friendships bloomed even with seniors

Felt like we knew each other for Years

Whole heartedly participated in celebrations and fests

With exams approaching, did everything but rest

Unexpectedly found home away from home

Unknown humans ploddingly turned known

Among the new ones,some stood the test of time

They are the ones who cheer for you at your prime

Indulging in memories , this year brought on a panoramic view

With a fresh year ahead, withdraw from the unpleasant and start anew
