Your thoughts and knowledge were the light

Otherwise a dark caste system would still have been a site

The greatest awards and merits are so small

For your works for humanity have made you so tall

You have shown pen is indeed mightier than a sword

If not you who would have fought for the ones ignored

It’s you because of whom our heads are held high

Wings of knowledge can indeed make us fly

We bow in respect and gratitude before you

Education is the mightiest weapon this fact is true

You paved the way, from untouchables to a life of dignity

This is why you’ll live and be remembered for eternity!!
